Greg Wells is a Director of Brokerage Services in the Self Storage Industry Group. Mr. Wells brings over 13 years of experience in the self storage asset class and is one of the premier self storage brokers in the country. He specializes in the sales and acquisitions of self-storage facilities and land for development of self-storage. Mr. Wells addition to the existing C&W Self Storage Industry Group creates a specialized, national practice group unmatched in the self storage industry.

Prior to C&W, Mr. Wells was with Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial for thirteen years, specializing in Self Storage Investment Sales and formed the company’s Self Storage Group.
Mr. Wells has been a consistent top producer including, Top 10 Producer in 2005, numerous Circle of Excellence Awards and the Excellence in Client Service Award in 2008. Some past and present clients include pension fund advisors, REIT’s, lenders, and 1031 exchange buyers and sellers. Mr. Wells has closed over 90 self-storage transactions, sold over 6.0 million square feet of self-storage space totaling in excess of $400 million in total transaction volume.

• Mr. Wells received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University. He is a member of the national Self Storage Association and the California Self Storage Association.
  
  
• Mr. Wells’ civic affiliations include Board of Director for the United Cerebral Palsy San Diego chapter, and the Involved Exceptional Parents Day, as well as the treasurer with the Infant Development Association of California.

James E. Lewis has extensive experience in investment banking and real estate finance.  At Cushman & Wakefield he specializes in assisting clients with real estate acquisition, disposition and financing of self storage, office, industrial and retail properties.  Since joining C&W in 2005, his team has successfully closed real estate transactions for a combined total of over $627 million and total aggregate square footage of over 2.7 million square feet. 

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Lewis worked for Mindlin Companies, a private real estate investment firm.  There he identified and analyzed office and industrial investment opportunities for the firm.  Additionally, he was involved in the initial stages of raising a $25 million real estate investment fund.  Jim’s investment banking experience includes advising businesses on mergers and acquisitions.  This included business valuation, identifying acquisition targets and managing the merger and acquisition process.
 
Jim and his wife host an annual fundraiser benefiting local charities.  Jim has a degree in Finance from Linfield College and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He was awarded the Oregon/SW Washington Commercial Association of Realtors “Rookie of the Year” for 2006.  Additionally, he was designated a Power Broker by CoStar Group based on 2006 sales volume.  Jim received the Cushman & Wakefield “Sale of the Year” award in 2006, 2008, and 2009. Jim is a frequent guest lecturer on the topic of real estate finance at Portland State University.  He is licensed in Oregon and Washington.
